Nuevo colchón / New bed

Perdonad que no me levante... ays... es que este nuevo colchón... ays... ¡qué bueno es! Puedo estirarme todo lo que quiera y la cabeza ya no me queda colgando.
Sorry I don't get up...ooh... it's just that my new bed...oohh...how good it is!! I can stretch out as far as I can and my head no longer hangs.

Puedo hacerme un nido en este hueco que se hace en el centro y, cuando necesito ver qué hacen estos dos que viven conmigo, no tengo más que apoyar la cabeza en la almohada que se hace.

I can dig a nest in the middle of it and, when I need to see what these two that live with me do, I can just put my head on the pillow.

Ahora sí que podréis ver el brillo que está cogiendo mi pelo y cómo se me ha cerrado la herida que tenía abierta (quedará el recuerdo de una de las batallitas de mi vida anterior). Ahora sí que me saldrá pelo en los callos de las rodillas. Si es que no se puede estar más cómodo...

Now you can see how shiny my hair looks and how the open wound is healing (I'll keep it as a memory of my previous life). Now the calluses on my knees will get hairy. One couldn't be more comfortable than this...

Nuestro primer viaje al pueblo / Our first trip to the country house

No es la primera vez que vamos en coche,
It's not our first car trip,

pero es la primera vez que vamos a la otra casa, en el campo. Si bien llevábamos todas sus cosas (colchón, manta, comederos...) decidió que la alfombra del salón era mucho más acogedora. Opciones...
but it is the first time we go to our other house in the country side. Even though we carried all of his stuff (bed, blanket, eating and drinking dispensers...) he decided that the living-room carpet was much more cosy. Options...

Cuando aun hacía buen tiempo / When we still had good weather

Cuando aun hacía buen tiempo los paseos por el Ebro se alargaban y hacíamos fotos para guardar esos momentos y ver la evolución de Leo.
When we still had good weather, walks by the riverbank were long and we took photos to cherish those moments and watch Leo's evolution.

 En esta foto quizá se le vea muy delgado todavía. Pero ¿y en estas mientras lo cepillo?

 He might still look too skinny. But how about these ones while I brush his hair?

Poco a poco va ganando peso y confianza, ¿y quién no con tanto mimo?

He is slowly gaining weight, but who wouldn't with so many cuddles?

Dos semanas/Two weeks

Solo hace dos semanas que Leo está en casa. Procuramos ir a su lugar favorito, el parque del Ebro, pues es donde más feliz parece. Tanto que es muy difícil hacerle una foto en condiciones. No para quieto.
It's only been two weeks since Leo arrived home. We try to take walks in his favourite spot, the Ebro riverbank,  for it is the place where he seems happier. So much that it is really difficult to take a proper  photo of him. He doesn't sit still for a second.

Aunque entre olisquear por aquí y por allí...
Despite all the sniffing here and there...

y hacer nuevos amigos,
and making new friends,

a veces se queda quieto escuchando algo, momento que yo aprovecho para hacer la foto que nos recuerde cómo eran las cosas a las dos semanas de conocernos.
sometimes he sits still listening to something, so I can take a picture that will remind us how things were only two weeks after we met.

Como en casa / Feels like home

Cada día Leo se siente más cómodo. No hay más que ver cómo duerme ahora, completamente estirado.
As days go by, Leo feels more comfortable. Just see how he sleeps now, completely outstretched.

No solo la comida y los mimos están haciendo que se sienta en casa, sino que los paseos por el parque del Ebro son el placer del día.
Not only food and cuddles are making him feel at home, it is also that the walks by the park (Ebro riverbank) have become a daily pleasure.

Aquí se activan todos sus sentidos. Se nota que es un perro de campo.

Aunque a veces, las menos, vuelve el temblor cuando no reconoce los sonidos o el suelo.
Though sometimes, the trembling reappears when he doesn't recognize the sounds or the ground.

Leo, Leo, Leonardo Dakar

Leo (Leonardo Dakar) ya está en casa. El sábado llegó tembloroso, sin saber subir escaleras y resbalando en el suelo de casa. Mal comienzo, ¿verdad?
Leo (Leoanrdo Dakar) is finally home. He arrived last Saturday all shaky, unable to go upstairs and sliding on the floor at home. Bad start, ain't it?

En unas horas aprendió que, para llegar al ascensor y, por consiguiente, a casa y así a su cama, tenía que subir las escaleras. Dicho y hecho. Desde entonces, esta es su postura favorita.
In just a few hours he learned that, in order to get to the elevator and, therefore, home and that way to his bed, he had to go up the stairs. Said and done. Since then, this is is favourite position.

Además, hemos tenido tiempo de socializar y conocer a otros miembros de la familia. Aquí junto a Nico, su primín.
Furthermore, we've had time to make friends and meet other members of the family. Here he is with Nico, his little cousin.
