Ojos que me miran / Eyes looking at me

Seguimos esperando...
These are the eyes that follow me. Will they be the ones? We are still waiting...

Just in case the picture made by my niece Me and the watercolors given by my sister were not enough, Me made a clay little Greyhound head while on vacationat home. Am I contaging everyone around me or is it that I'm just a pain?
Me is an artist. Just check out the horse she drew when she was only 8.

Más huecos/more spaces

My first Christmas at my new house I received a gift from my sister that helped to fill in the space of that which I was willing to have.
It was two watercolours by the artist of Almost an Angel Elle J. Wilson: the one on the top is "A little Preservation" and the one on the bottom, "Serenity" . They both are hung on my bedroom wall and keep my company while I wait.

Esperando.../ Waiting...

Here we are... waiting... waiting... waiting... but not exasperating. Once the decision of adopting a Spanish greyhound was made after years of longing, do a few more days matter? While waiting, Me has drawn how she pictures us.
Pero no podíamos estar solos. Había una ardilla.
But we couldn't be alone. There was a squirrel with us.

Y un pájaro cantando.
And a bird singing.

So until we have news of my greyhound I'm content to see this on the fridge door.
Gracias, Me, por hacer esto más fácil.
Thank you, Me, for making this easier.
